Three weeks away! We can't wait to be back at House of Vans in Waterloo for our Spring Market on Saturday 14th May. There will be lost in store including a morning workshop, t-shirt printing throughout the day, and a Mental Health talk in the afternoon. FREE SPRING MARKET

We're very excited to be hosting our Spring Market on Saturday 11th March in Leake Street - the famous graffiti tunnel underneath Waterloo Station. Come along to shop from 30+ independent businesses. We take great care in showcasing makers who are trying to make a difference with their unique, handmade, eco-conscious products. Click the photo to grab your free ticket via Eventbrite.




POP UP

Winnie from STUDIO LIMBO is hosting a pop-up this Saturday in Soho. All of her candle workshops are sold out, but you'll be able to pop in from 7-9pm for shopping and drinks. Make sure to give her a follow @limbocandles for future updates.

'GROWN & THROWN' MARKET

Ceramics and plants, what more could you want? Green Rooms Market and Independent Ceramics Market are collaborating to bring one epic event to Unit 8, Copeland Park in Peckham. We're excited for this one next Sunday!




CHARITY SUPER.MKT

What a fantastic idea! As avid chazza fans, we can't wait to visit. Find 10 amazing charity shops under one roof, buy second hand, have a great time and know your money is going somewhere worthwhile.

The scale of the destruction from the earthquake that hit Turkey and Syria on Monday morning is vast. Our friend Lucy Scovell, author of The Istanbulist, has written an article on ways to donate and subsequently help those affected. Click the image to find out more.




WORKSHOPS

Better Things London has curated a fabulous line up of small business owners at their shop in Forest Hill, and we're looking forward to checking it out. Lots of makers we know are taking part, and a few are hosting workshops too! Try your hand at candle painting with Habit Haus, flower arranging with Peony Belles or pearl bracelet making with Ray Makes Things.




CINEMA

We can't get enough of the new Cinema in Battersea Power Station, it's pretty epic. The opening showreel will have your whole body in goosebumps! It's on the pricey side, but worth it for the comfortable chairs, lush toilets and amazing sound systems. Film Club members can enjoy £9 tickets (for up to two people) on Mondays.




BLIND DATE WITH A BOOK

The brilliant team at SoLo Craft Fair have come up with this great idea, to give away free books each month to bring a little cheer to the local community. Don't miss the next event on Sunday 26th February from 2-4pm outside SoLo Craft Fair Shop in Elephant & Castle. Plus you can take a look inside the shop!




RESTAURANT

We had a delicious meal at Le Bab the other night, and we'll definitely be heading back soon. We are still drooling over the Dirty Fries, Tahini Broccoli and Lamb Adana Kebab. BPS is our local, but there are many other locations around London including Old Street, Brixton and Covent Garden.




WORKSHOPS

Jesmonite workshops incoming. Join Crafty Jezebels on Thursday 23rd Feb (other dates available) at 7pm in Streatham to explore this process with Annabelle.




LIGHT SHOW

Have you visited the Battersea Power Station Light Festival yet? With 8 amazing pieces of art inside and outside the spectacular building, teamed with tonnes of great restaurants around Circus West Village, and a trip to the new Cinema, it’s a fun date night or weekend activity with friends. It’s free to visit until 5th March.




VINTAGE

The Vintage Home Show is coming to Primrose Hill on Saturday 25th Feb 10.30-3.30pm. Tickets vary in price from £4-6, and kids under 16 go free.

Looking for a unique way to celebrate Mother's Day? Why not join one of ambustum's candle making workshops in Central London. Available to book on Sunday 19th March (11am-12.30pm), Tuesday 21st March (6.30-8pm) or Thursday 23rd March (6.30-8pm).
